Through their shades: баба и дедо

Introducing my баба (baba) и дедо (dedo), (grandmother and grandfather) Vasa and George. Two people I cherish and look up to. Their passions, work ethic and caring personalities are something I admire dearly. Massive supporters of STEFS, they are always eager to hear of what I’m working on next. When I told them I wanted to capture them around their home, it made them ecstatic.

The home is full of memories, love and passion. George’s garden is his pride and joy. Thriving year round, he grows fresh tomatoes, pumpkins, capsicums and more.

Vasa communicates love through her cooking. The fresh produce from their garden is the foundation for the many dishes she cooks for her children and grandchildren.

Their home is a special place, so to capture them in this space was a wholesome and nostalgic experience.
